Animation is hotter then ever. You need only look to the movies, TV commercials or network / cable programming to see everyone is using animation to inform and entertain. The reasons are simple. You can do more with an animated character or 3D animation than is possible with a live actor. Next is the cost factor. A live action production requires much more man power: actors, cinematographers, location managers, lighting, sound, wardrobe, directors, producers and all their assistants. An animated production can take you to another world and let you do things that aren't humanly possible. A small staff of writers, artists, voice and musical talents can do so much more for a lot less than a live action production.
